From the Aegean Sea to the well-known Cyclades and the Ionian Sea, the possible itineraries between the Greek islands are endless. Santorini

You’ll be blown away by the authentic charm of this Greek gem. 

Rhodes

The largest of the Dodecanese islands attracts a large number of visitors thanks to its enchanting sights and rich cultural heritage. Surrounded by high fortifications, its ancient medieval town was built by the order of the Knights of Saint John in the 14th century. You can admire traces of their presence when visiting the Palace of the Grand Master and while walking around its nice paved streets. The beaches of Rhodes, the town of Lindos and the Butterfly Valley also are not to be missed.

Paros

This Cyclades island may be less crowded than Santorini and Mykonos, but it’s just as charming! It was able to preserve its authenticity which you’ll notice when visiting the picturesque village of Lefkes and the seaside town of Naousa. Before stopping in the trendy capital Parikia, plan a beach day and enjoy a swim in the gorgeous turquoise waters of Greece. From the village of Pounta, you can take a ferry to Antiparos, a small island known for its stalactites cave.

Crete

Characterized by its wild nature and mountain scenery, this is the biggest of all Greek islands. Chania will charm you with its diverse influences and pastel-coloured houses. Crete is also where the Minoan civilization was born, making it home to many historical sites such as the Palace of Knossos. For the nature lovers, they can explore the Samaria Gorge and go for a dip on one of the island’s idyllic beaches. The pink beach of Elafonisi—ranked among the most beautiful in the world—is also a must-see.

This small island in the Saronic Gulf offers a wonderful atmosphere thanks to its charming terraces and its old port, ideal for a stroll along the waterfront. You’ll notice the elegant houses and luxurious boats that reflect the island’s old naval tradition and rich past. If you’d like, you could even hop on a horse-drawn carriage to discover the city from a new perspective. At the end of the day, relax under the shade of pine trees on one of the beautiful beaches of Spetses.

Mykonos

This Cyclades island is the ultimate party destination! At night, terraces and beaches are immersed in a very lively atmosphere that doesn’t stop until dawn. During your stay in Mykonos, take some time to explore the Little Venice neighbourhood with its pretty houses overlooking the sea and its mythical windmills dating back to the 16th century. Also, don’t forget to plan a few hours to shop the island’s nicest luxury boutiques. 

Poros

Located in the Saronic Gulf, the small island of Poros is only about a hundred metres from the continent, making it easily accessible from Athens. When you get there, climb the Sphaeria hill to the clock tower to get a beautiful view of the elegant red-roofed houses and the crystal-clear sea. A few kilometres from the port, you can walk through the remains of Poseidon’s Temple and venture into the lemon forest. 

Amorgos

Made famous thanks to Luc Besson’s The Big Blue, this large volcanic island is the most eastern of the Cyclades. With its wild nature, beautiful trails and cliffs that drop into the deep blue sea, it’s the ideal playground for hikers and snorkelling enthusiasts. Don’t forget to stop by Panagia Hazoviotissa, a monastery that was built on a cliffside, and explore the small village of Chora with its blue-shuttered white houses and traditional pubs that offer tasty meals.
